Emotional intelligence (EI) is basically a set of abilities through the possession  which an individual is able to identify , understand and manage his or her emotions and those of others in a way that develops an environment of optimism and cooperation of each other.  EI is recognised as an  important aspect of individual's personality. Emotional intelligence plays a vital role in an interview as such that it gives the recruiters a deeper understanding of the candidate.
