Interviews can be daunting enough situations without employers throwing in weird or unusual questions that are nothing you could have ever prepped for. So why do employers sometimes ask some down-right bizarre interview questions?
Well, many employers out there think asking unusual questions is the way to catch you off guard and therefore get an honest or more real answer.
Increasingly, interview situations are moving away from the generic questions about teamwork and experience and are now all about throwing weird and wacky interview questions into the mix. If you turn up expecting them it’s fine, but if you’re not used to it, it can be a little disorienting.
